Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15, 1996, from Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian musician and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away - by Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two of the most notable covers the singer has created. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding an old grand piano hidden in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music for the sake of personal development, and not to earn money or to pursue as a hobby. As a result, she began writing the music she composed herself. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in her influences, along with an appreciation for the style of Bjork. To counter her mother's suggestion that her children should not be aiming to become famous with their songwriting skills, she instead recognize the significance of their lives and the impact they have on society. She started playing piano when she was just six and started writing songs by the time she was nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known by her family until she was fourteen. Aurora never dreamed of becoming a star. The singer claims she is a fan of creating music. According to her, she believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
